Bihar Block Level New Vacancy 2025 – 12th Pass Eligible

A major update has come regarding Bihar recruitment for 1064 posts at block level, subdivision level, and district level in Bihar. 12th pass candidates are eligible for this recruitment, and selection will be based on an entrance exam.

This recruitment is open nationwide, but Bihar residents will primarily benefit.

Recruitment Approval & Notification

• The recruitment falls under the Cabinet Secretariat Department.
• A total of 1064 posts have been approved:
  • District Urdu Language Cell – 38 posts
  • Subdivision Office – 101 posts
  • Block Office – 534 posts
  • Circle Office – 391 posts
• The post name is Assistant Urdu Translator.
• The official notification is expected soon, and Bihar SSC (Bihar Staff Selection Commission) will conduct the recruitment process.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education:
  • Intermediate (12th pass) with at least 100 marks in Urdu subject.
  • Candidates with an equivalent Urdu qualification can also apply.
• Age Limit (as per category):
  • General (Male): 18 to 37 years
  • General (Female): 18 to 40 years
  • BC/EBC (Male & Female): 18 to 40 years
  • SC/ST (Male & Female): 18 to 42 years
  • Other state candidates: 18 to 37 years

Salary & Pay Scale

• Salary Level: Level 5
• Estimated Starting Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 (Including allowances)

Selection Process & Exam Details

1️⃣ Written Exam (Main Exam)

• The main exam will be conducted in two shifts on the same day:
  • First Paper:
    • Essay Writing (100 marks)
    • Urdu Grammar & Summary Writing
    • Duration: 3 hours
  • Second Paper:
    • Translation (100 marks)
    • Hindi to Urdu, Urdu to Hindi, English to Urdu, English to Hindi
    • Duration: 3 hours
• Exam Mode: Both Objective & Subjective questions will be asked.

2️⃣ Preliminary Exam (If Applications Exceed 40,000)

• If more than 40,000 applications are received, a pre-exam will be conducted before the main exam.
• Pre-Exam Subjects (100 Marks | 90 Minutes): ✅ Urdu Grammar ✅ Urdu Vocabulary ✅ Hindi Vocabulary ✅ General Knowledge
• Shortlisting for Main Exam:
  • 5 times the number of vacancies will be selected from the pre-exam.

• General / BC / EBC: ₹500
• SC / ST / Female Candidates: ₹00 (Free)

Important Notes for Applicants

✔️ If applying under SC/ST, ensure your caste certificate is ready. ✔️ If applying under BC/EBC, obtain your Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate. ✔️ EWS candidates must have an updated EWS certificate. ✔️ Married Female Candidates: Address details should match documents.
