Application Process – Step by Step

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

To fill out the form, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google and search for “Bihar Police Sub Inspector SI Vacancy”.
  2. Visit the official website and check the current job section.
  3. Read all the details, including application fee, eligibility, age limit, height criteria, etc.
  4. Click on “Apply Online”, which will redirect you to the application portal.

Step 2: Registration & Payment

  1. On the application page, select “Register & Make Payment” (Step 1).
  2. Carefully read the instructions before proceeding.
  3. Tick the declaration box and click “Proceed to Registration & Payment”.

Important Notes:

  • Payment Fee:
    • General/OBC: ₹700
    • Female/SC/ST: ₹400
  • Candidates who completed graduation after 1st August 2024 are not eligible.
  • Ensure you enter the correct passing year to avoid rejection.

Step 3: Filling Personal Details

  1. Enter your First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name.
  2. Select Nationality.
  3. Provide your Mobile Number and Email ID.
  4. If you are a domicile of Bihar, select “Yes” and choose your category (General, BC, EBC, SC, ST, EWS).
    • If you select “No”, your category will automatically be set as General.
  5. Choose Gender and enter your Date of Birth.
  6. If you are a government employee, select “Yes” and enter your service joining date (if applicable).
  7. If you are an ex-serviceman, select “Yes” and provide details.

Important Documents Required:

  • BCEBC Candidates: Must have a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate.
  • EWS Candidates: Must have an EWS Certificate (2024-2025 session).
  • SC/ST Candidates: Must have the latest caste certificate.

Step 4: Declaration & Verification

  1. Verify all the details entered before proceeding.
  2. Enter the Captcha Code and click on “Make Payment”.
  3. Select the payment mode (UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card).
  4. After successful payment, your Registration ID will be confirmed.

Step 5: Completing the Application Form

  1. Click on “Process to Fill Application Form”.
  2. Re-check Registration Details before proceeding.
  3. Click “OK” to continue.
  4. Read the instructions carefully, then declare & proceed.

Step 6: Entering Educational Qualifications

  1. Matriculation (10th Details):
    • Enter Board/University Name.
    • Provide the Passing Certificate Number.
    • If the certificate number is not visible, use the serial number on the mark sheet.
    • Provide the Certificate Issue Date or Passing Year.
  2. Graduation Details:
    • Enter University Name.
    • Provide Passing Certificate Number and Passing Year.
    • Ensure your graduation was completed before 1st August 2024.
  3. Post Graduation (PG Details) (If applicable):
    • Enter University Name and Passing Year.

Step 7: Address Details

  1. Enter your Permanent Address:
    • House Number / Ward Number
    • Village / Locality
    • Post Office
    • State, District, Pin Code
  2. If your Correspondence Address is the same as Permanent Address, tick “Same as Permanent”.

Step 8: Criminal & Legal Information

  1. Answer Yes/No to:
    • Any criminal cases registered against you.
    • Any pending cases in court.
    • Any arrests made in the past.
  2. Answer No for unrelated sections (if applicable).

Step 9: Uploading Documents

  1. Photograph:
    • Must be recent with a white background.
    • Upload in color (passport size).
  2. Signature:
    • Sign on white paper with black ink.
    • Upload Hindi & English signatures.

Step 10: Final Submission & Printout

  1. Preview the application before submitting.
  2. If any mistakes are found, click Edit.
  3. If correct, declare & submit the form.
  4. After submission, download and print the application receipt.
