Physical Test Update
- The physical tests for CAPF HCM are currently being conducted and will continue till 2nd June 2025.
- This year, the physical exam is conducted before the written exam, unlike the earlier format.
- This method helps reduce the number of written exam candidates and streamline the selection process.
Written Exam Date (Expected)
- Expected Date: August 2025
- The written exam is likely to be held after the physical test list is finalized by June–July 2025.
Written Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of the following five sections, each carrying 20 questions, contributing to a total of 100 marks:
- Reasoning Ability
- General Math
- General Knowledge and Computer Awareness
- Language Test (Hindi/English as per candidate’s selection)
- Clerical Aptitude
Note: Many candidates tend to neglect the clerical aptitude section, which often impacts overall merit. This section carries equal weight and needs proper attention.
Clerical Aptitude – A Critical Section
- This is often misunderstood or ignored by candidates.
- Clerical aptitude includes basic reasoning, decision-making, and office-work-related questions.
- A separate free session might be introduced to explain clerical aptitude in detail if there’s sufficient interest.
