CUET 2025: Prohibited Items at the Examination Centre
Candidates must not carry the following items inside the CUET 2025 exam hall:
- Handwritten notes, torn book pages
- Pencil box, geometry box, plastic pouches
- Calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, scanners
- Personal pens (NTA will provide pens inside the hall)
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, health bands
- Wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps
- Cameras, metallic items, or any electronic devices
- Food items, whether packed or unpacked
- Water bottles (only transparent bottles without any labels are allowed)
If any prohibited item is found, it will be treated as use of unfair means, which can lead to immediate disqualification from the exam.
Important note: No storage facility will be provided at the exam centers to keep these items.
CUET 2025 Dress Code for Boys and Girls
The NTA has specified a clear dress code for all CUET 2025 candidates:
Boys:
- Prefer simple t-shirts without big pockets or heavy designs.
- Low-heeled slippers or sandals are allowed.
- Avoid shoes to prevent last-minute issues at security checks.
- No metallic belts, thick-soled shoes, or heavy accessories.
Girls:
- Wear simple open t-shirts or kurtis without too many layers or pockets.
- Slippers or sandals with low heels are allowed.
- Avoid high-heeled shoes, metallic jewelry, bangles, bracelets, or large hair accessories.
- Carry only essentials and keep accessories minimal to avoid unnecessary checks.
Special instructions:
- Girls and boys carrying religious threads or cultural items must report 2 hours early at the exam center for verification.
- Only authorized female staff will frisk girl candidates inside a closed cabin.
Important Notes for Diabetic Students
Diabetic candidates who applied for a special provision while filling out their CUET application form may carry approved medical items. However, if the declaration was not made earlier, they will not be allowed to carry any additional items on the exam day.

- Recent passport-size photograph (same as on admit card)
