The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has re-issued the notification for the PGT Computer Science recruitment. Many aspirants are confused about eligibility, B.Ed requirements, HTET/STET, and form filling dates. Here’s everything you need to know.

📋 Eligibility Criteria for HPSC PGT Computer Science 2025

✅ Educational Qualification

You must be a Post Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Acceptable degrees include:

• MCA
• M.Tech (CS)
• M.Sc (IT/CS)

📌 B.Tech or PGDCA is NOT acceptable.

✅ B.Ed Requirement

• B.Ed from a recognized university (as per NCTE norms) is required.
• If you have less than 50% in PG (but at least 45%), B.Ed must comply with 2022 NCTE guidelines.
• Integrated degrees like BA+B.Ed or B.Sc+B.Ed followed by PG are also valid.
• Subject of B.Ed does not matter (e.g., BA + B.Ed + MCA = Eligible).

⚠️ Important Clarification

Even non-B.Ed candidates may be considered (low priority), as mentioned in the latest notification:

“Candidate having the above qualifications but not having B.Ed would also be considered.”

🎓 HTET/STET Requirement

• The latest notification does not mention HTET/STET.
• Previous versions did include HTET/STET as mandatory.
• A final clarification is awaited during form processing.
