SSC OTR Aadhaar Update 2025 – Last Date, Steps, and Important Instructions

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a major update for all SSC aspirants. From 2 June 2025, Aadhaar verification has been made mandatory for One Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC portal. Whether you’re a new candidate or have previously registered, it is now necessary to link your Aadhaar number to your SSC profile.

Who Needs to Update?

1. New Users:
   Must start registration after 2 June 2025 as Aadhaar will be enabled from that date.
2. Existing Registered Users:
   Must update Aadhaar details in their SSC dashboard before 31 May 2025.

How to Update Aadhaar in SSC OTR

1. Go to the official SSC website
2. Click on Login/Registration
3. Enter your:
   • Registration Number
   • Password
   • Captcha Code
4. Click Login
5. On your dashboard, click Edit Registration Detail
6. Select Yes when asked if you have an Aadhaar card
7. Enter your Aadhaar Number twice for verification
8. Scroll down to update any other fields if needed
9. Validate your mobile number or email ID via OTP
10. Click Save and Next
11. Review your information via Preview OTR
12. Click I Agree and then Declare Case

Once you complete these steps, your SSC OTR will be Aadhaar-verified and eligible for all future SSC recruitments.

• Gender
• Date of Birth
• Educational Qualification
• Category
• Nationality
• Address
• Email ID and Mobile Number (OTP verification required)

Important Notes

• Without Aadhaar verification, you cannot apply for any SSC recruitment
• Aadhaar linking is compulsory for both new and old students
• Make sure to update your profile before 31 May 2025 if already registered
• All upcoming recruitment forms starting 2 June 2025 will require Aadhaar-based OTR

SSC Exam Calendar Note

SSC released the revised exam calendar for 2025-26 on 9 May 2025. Recruitments for various selection posts will begin from 2 June 2025, so Aadhaar-based OTR is now a must.
